DM42 Back Cover Material

Post by gduncan »

On the SM website models page, it states that certain models have "sandblasted Grade 1 Titanium housing". Is the material used for the back cover of the DM42 the same? Or something different?

My Dad would have loved the DM42 since he was a cost accountant for US Steel and was always talking about Stainless Steel...We had a Stainless Steel kitchen early on in 1972 since he ordered some stainless sheets and made his own coverings on the kitchen appliances...

Yeah but you can't use refrigerator magnets on stainless! All our grandkids' drawings would fall to the floor! :)

Thanks! I learn something new every day. That must be what my Mother-in-Law's fridge was, then. Nothing would stick to it.
