Delivery To Canada (Quebec)

Post by fs5qc »

Anyone Know the Delivery time in Canada for a DM42 ?

I was told they shipped is by SwissPost Register Mail but I don’t have a tracking number.

As I said in our exchange over on the Facebook page, deliveries to the Americas are taking between 4 and 5 weeks.

Also, I never said we used tracked post. I said we use SwissPost. There is no tracking information.

Using tracked post does not accelerate the delivery (and can in fact slow it down) and the postal services are reliable enough.
There are only 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who do not.

It recently took six weeks to received a package from Germany to Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Canada.
With the currently overloaded shipping carriers, I would expect 4 to 8 weeks of shipping time between Switzerland and Quebec/Canada.

The way the US/Canada situation is, it took four weeks for something I sent to my niece to reach Montreal and I only live 144km from there!

Yesterday, my mother told me that she had just received a parcel that her sister had sent her two weeks before Christmas.
Mom lives in the Netherlands and her sister in Germany...

Hmmh. Within Germany, deliveries work as usual as far as I observe.
WP43 SN00000, 34S, and 31S for obvious reasons; HP-35, 45, ..., 35S, 15CE, DM16L S/N# 00093, DM42β SN:00041
