I live in Denver and have had way longer than normal delays shipping things to people lately. I have two packages that just arrived yesterday from Denver to Portland and it took 16 days, from the estimated 2. I have another one going to LA which after 14 days shows that it still hasn't left Denver. Also the part of the USPS website that lets you report slow or seemingly lost mail is shut down right now. It seems like they are having some major service interruptions.

This is strange because USPS is actually known for outstanding service. But nowadays everything seems to be so slowed that it takes almost twice as long as it normally does. The constant waiting is really getting on my nerves!

I ordered a DM41X it was shipped on 04 Dec and it arrived 24 Dec in central Texas, so long delays in the postal system.

The week before Christmas in Arizona, we had days with neither USPS pickup nor delivery — very unusual.

Shipped on October 9th. We're at 37 days and counting here in Oregon. Hopefully not too much longer.
Well it finally arrived.

The first time it was shipped, USPS couldn't figure out what to do with it (despite it having the correct address) so after two months they sent it back!

SwissMicros shipped it again December 9th and it arrived here today. What an adventure.

I recently had two shipments from SM delivered to the Phoenix, AZ area. One took 7 days: 1/13 to 1/19, the second took 13 days: 1/13 to 1/25.

In some cases, delivery time is just fine....

I ordered some books from The Tank Museum in UK (Dorset) on Sunday, Jan 17th and the books were delivered to my home on Wednesday, Jan 20th. :D

Though they were shipped via DHL (the cheapest option, not special priority) I can rarely get mail delivered to me from NYC in 3 days, and I live only 50 miles away. :?:
