Yet another 3D-printable DM42 case

Post by Analogy »

I saw the hinged case that's been posted here and on Thingiverse but I was personally looking for something a little less bulky so I whipped one up that slides on and off the calculator and only adds a few mm of thickness.

Perfect - since there's no need to protect a stainless steel back. 8-)
WP43 SN00000, 34S, and 31S for obvious reasons; HP-35, 45, ..., 35S, 15CE, DM16L S/N# 00093, DM42β SN:00041

Precisely.

I wish I could figure out a design that lets me store the cover attached to the calculator to help avoid misplacing it. My old TI-89, you slide the cover off, flip it, slide it back on. The shape of the DM42 makes it tough, especially if you want it to be 3d-printable (i.e. no overhangs). Maybe inspiration will hit me.
