I usually don't read manuals it limits the usage possibilities of equipment most of time

Early in the manual it definitely explains that the Back-arrow key is used to exit menus and modes, etc.

This seems to be the only screen with an "EXIT" soft key. It should probably be removed for a consistent UI experience, using the Back-Arrow as Bob states above.

Darn-it, you found another one! They're hiding on me, in 2nd and 3rd level UI levels...

As Dan noted, you can also use [<-] here, and this [EXIT] key will be deprecated in a future release.
