New OS
Just a note about the last OS: In the menus the "ON" key is often used to return. So I don't think it's wise to set the "ON" key to completely erase the plugged modules. I've been caught several times already. Couldn't we switch "Plug" and "ClrAM"?
Otherwise all is well and bravo for the "CST" which is excellent!

Re: New OS
Huh. I thought I was the only one unloading ROMs with the ON key!

Re: New OS
The [ON] key is no longer used in the 41X UI to exit any screens or functions, that was a sloppy holdover from the 42S and has been corrected.
Also, there is a confirmation before wiping, so you should not actually lose anything, but please holler if that happened.

Re: New OS
I too from muscle memory (didn’t read the update) and now I cannot exit the
MANAGE MODULES in FLASH
How does one exit the that menu now; as the ENTER key takes me to the
Module info.
I am hollering as I may have inadvertently erased without reading the screen.
The only way out is to reset, memory lost. But I still get caught in the exit loop as described above.

Re: New OS
The backspace key allows you to back out of pages.
There are only 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who do not.

Re: New OS
In the Active Modules (ENTER| to confirm)
Screen it states
“Press (ENTER) to abandon changes, or [EXIT] to return to Active Modules.
There is no EXIT choice.

Re: New OS
Asked and answered, disregard the previous post. Found the EXIT soft key. Which comes up as you cycle through the menu pages.
Re: New OS
Early in the manual it definitely explains that the Back-arrow key is used to exit menus and modes, etc.Geoff Quickfall wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 8:29 pmIn the Active Modules (ENTER| to confirm)

And if it doesn't, it soon will..
