We have a strange family! Now you know why my paternal Grandmother wouldn't let me speak German! I haven't even mastered English yet!

Works great on my laptop, but I am getting this error on my desktop system:
An empty frame is drawn and then this crash happens:
Exception code=0xc000001d flags=0x0 at 0x000000000040658A

System is Win10x64 with all updates(according to Windows Update) and latest GTK3x64. Can anyone tell me what this error means in the context of the simulator so that I can fix this? The last working version I had was from last year and I was eager to try the new version.
We're most willing to help, so please elaborate a bit: What's the difference between your laptop and desktop system?

Thanks to the kind moderator. Quoting properly seems to be as difficult as setting parentheses - now we know why all these folks use RPN.

You wouldn't want to have been at our family reunions! Italian side very Catholic, complaining about "those heretics", German side very Lutheran complaining about "those papists" and me wondering if either side was right!

Sounds like some Northern Irish families. Of course both are right. ;)

Here an example of what I found many times by googling: https://wikifixes.com/en/errors/0x/0xc000001d/
The "0xc000001d" error is commonly caused by incorrectly configured system settings or irregular entries in the Windows registry.

A new wp43s.exe is available for you to do all the checks you ever wanted to do using the simulator on your PC. You'll find xth root of y now implemented, y^x improved, and keystrokes timing out to NOP properly. :D

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Just uploaded the updated draft manuals some minutes ago. Looking forward to people finding errors, typos, topics not covered, things which could be described easier, forgotten stuff, bad links, etc. and reporting these here. Thanks in advance. :)

BTW, there's a little section called Background Considerations and Facts at the end of the ReM. Recommended if you want to get some idea why things on the 43S look and work the way they do. 8-)
