NASA Module

Post by Olivier de Nantes »

Hello

In the modules available for DM 41x, I found in a library on the forum, a module NASA FLGHT.

I found also is a reference in PPC journal Vol 9 N°3 (p9).

Does anyone have an idea of the content of this module ?

Thank you

Olivier

If you won't get an answer here, I recommend asking Matthias (HP-collection) on the forum in the Wild West.
WP43 SN00000, 34S, and 31S for obvious reasons; HP-35, 45, ..., 35S, 15CE, DM16L S/N# 00093, DM42β SN:00041

Thank you Walter,

I found a topic on this item, but difficult to have more information (still elated to PPC Journal Vol 9 N°3).

In this topic (related to an HP41 Quizz), the contributor (http://www.silicium.org/forum/viewtopic ... 9&start=30) talk also about a function called FEX (mix between FIX & ENG) : it works of course on DM 41x.

Good and interesting text

I put this one together from diverse papers (posted on MoHPC)on flight and space programs. Will check my notes and get back to you with the titles.

Ángel, I’ve looked briefly to the OFCNTR program from the third paper and I’ve a question for you.

First, I noticed a typo at line 08 which should be “THIS PROGRAM” instead of “THIS ORIGRAM”

Then at line 29 as well at several other places in the program there is a strange instruction: ‘-NASA FLGHT’ replacing the following instructions in the original listing:
AVIEW
“Y=1, N=0”
PROMPT

Can you explain how you coded ‘-NASA FLGHT’ and how it is working? It seems single stepping on ‘-NASA FLGHT’ is not allowed and moving to PRG mode after SST on ‘-NASA FLGHT’ just displays “PRIVATE”
