1) The DM41X should be a faithful reproduction of the functionality of the original. I want absolute portability of programs between my Real 41CX and my DM41X, or what is the point. Feature creep can introduce unintended incompatibilities and incrementally creating an entirely new calculator.

2) If you want a new Feature-Rich Supercalculator the Wonderful WP43C / WP43S will be available soon.
  1. Between an optional more readable font and feature creep is quite a difference IMO. YMMV
  2. Thanks for reminding me.
1) I agree a font is no big deal but when everybody requests a nice little feature that is no big deal it does become feature creep.
2) I was trying to pay you a compliment for your hard work on the 43. I'm not sure what the  is aimed at...
  1. As I wrote YMMV
  2. THINK

Hello

...

My first comments on the DM 41X are :
- ...
- The display modes are nice, especially for the the PRGM mode. In the normal screen mode, could it be
possible to have the choice of the same Police sets than in DM 42 ?

...

Olivier
I forgot an improvement, in relation with the display of all the register, just like the DM42, with different Stack Layouts: it could be nice, with also different sizes for the stack fonts (not police)

But maybe this post could be better relocated in Topic "Features suggestion", as well as the previous one ?

There is no interest or plan for the 41X to add either 'normal' fonts or customized stack displays; If you like these features, the DM42 offers more than any other calculator known. The 41X is a faithful emulation of the original 41CX, albeit with some enhancements, but always in the spirit and style of the original 41. The 14-segment font is a core, defining feature of the 41 series; the same is true for the 41X.

How would I make HEPAX work?

For some reason, my DM41X (sn088) freezes as I try to plug it (it may be other reasons for that, though)

So no progress in 40 years in this matter. I give up. The 41X is a nice and solid toy for sure but definitly not for me.

So you are mainly interested in the font used, that's funny.

Usability encompasses readability IMHO. YMMV

Checked and rechecked - it freezes specifically on loading HEPAX. Is there anything I need to do before loading it, like setting up some pages for HEPAX RAM?

What is the exact steps needed to get HEPAX running in the DM41X?

I was having problems with Hepax until I moved it to the end of the Active Modules List. It is now working just fine.

i noticed your R54 for Library#4 and thought: odd, why is mine only R51, yet I loaded the modules zip on Sunday?

Looks like a new module zip (200316) appeared since then.

Would it be possible to announce when that happens, please, so we don't need to keep checking?

A wee note of what changed would be nice too, of course; although in this case it seems to be only Lib#4, and so presumably mostly support stuff.

As ever, thanks to Ángel for his hard work updating all his modules :)
