Test message to ensure Forum is working

Mods: feel free to remove this (after a day or so, so folks can see that it's here).

LOL! I know. The forum has been dead the past few days! I enjoy the banter regarding ideal keyboard layouts. Cheers!

Can't understand why you don't appreciate the sound of silence.

That's the American horror silentii. The absence of the so-called "beautiful noise" seems to be hard to stand.

Actually, it was an American solution to the reported 'problem' of silence here on the SM Forum, posted at MoHPC. I am not sure, but I believe the OP was not American. Be careful how you aim such observations, else it could be seen as what my elementary school teacher called a 'hasty generalization'. ;)

:o Bob, you're not American?!?

Look like severe problems with self-conciousness. I learn something new here quite often ... ;)

It's not a matter of silence, more a matter of feeding my HP fix :)
