True, but the new h/w will make this still
much faster than any of the original Voyagers, even if hobbled a bit by the limited programming commands and editor. Easily the fastest entry-level programmable machine out there.
But mostly, it's new, strictly limited, and real purty.
Finally, no doubt it will be a sound investment for eBay and other collectible sellers. 2-3 years from now, these will probably be selling for $200-250, and 5 years from now, much more than that. It's a strategic limitation that I only buy and use calculators...
