DM15L - missing LCD column

After few months of use, I have a problem on my LCD screen of the DM15L : a row does not darken any more. The incriminated row is shown on the enclosed pictures. I informed Micheal by mail, but I do not have any answer so far. The issue is that I have lost the invoice... Does anyone have seen this failure ? Thanks.

I've seen it before but it's a COLUMN that's out, not a ROW. You could try to check the connection between the main board and the LCD display but I don't hold out much hope. Unless you have experience with delicate soldering (which may not even fix the problem) I'd just ask for a warranty replacement.

I received a message from Michael. He will send me a new LCD, and I will change it by myself. To be continued...

I just received the screen, but the thing is that the old one is firmly glued with a double face tape to the board. No chance that I removed it without damage. Moreover, I do not have any spare tape with the new screen...
