I own a first generation DM15CC credit card size calculator, which lacks a reset button. My question is how do I go about updating the firmware on this calculator, since using the Voyager update tool requires pressing the reset button on the calculator to begin the flashing process ?
Let me add that I tried resetting the calculator using the - ON key sequence, and although this does indeed reset the calculator, it does not initiate the flashing process.

Re: Firmware update on first generation credit card size calculator
Hi Mike
The very first units had an LPC1114 with only 32kB flash memory, later the LPC1115 with 64kB was used.
The latest DM15/DM15L firmware requires an LPC1115. The last 32k version was DM15_M1B_V16_32k.hex
See https://technical.swissmicros.com/voyager/firmware/old/
Instead of pressing the reset button, you could as well insert the battery at that time.

Re: Firmware update on first generation credit card size calculator
Hello Michael,
I tried what you suggested, but unfortunately it does not work. I removed the battery, then re-inserted when prompted by the Voyager Firmware Tool, but nothing happened and it timed out. I did verify in Windows Device Manager that the calculator was connected to the PC and entered the correct COM port number in the VFT, so that's not the problem. Oh well.
