Michael, thank you for delivering on your commitment to make this calculator available. You are clearly a man of your word. I have ordered my first DM10L. A second unit will surely follow.

Well done,

Kim

The HP-10C/DM10L cannot accommodate more than 79 program steps.
What might be possible would be 79 program steps and all 10 registers. This would require updating the ROM image in the firmware.

Why building a DM-10 with more capabilities as the DM-11 and DM-15 are available ?

That's a very good point.

It's not going to happen just yet because David has his hands full with work on the DM41X. He's also backporting some of the improvements to the Nut emulation layer that were made for the 41X to the DM1x/41 machines. But it's something worth discussing and maybe putting on the to-do list.

Hi,

my DM10L arrived in its distinctive sturdy box today.
The serial no. is the desired one, too.
Hurray ! :D

Four small pictures from the "unpacking":

The DM10L has the same comfortable grip like the DM15L/11L and is fun to work with.
The lettering "Collector's Edition" is a brilliant addition.
The four main screws, holding the backplane to the front, are at least one third longer
in comparison to those of earlier DM11L models, which is a nice improvement.
The mainboard is rev8 and powered by the same resourceful LPC1115 (ARM Cortex-M0)
as in other DM1x, micro:bit, Calliope mini or other devices ;) .

It is a well done work, IMO worth the wait & I can only recommend it.

When you place your order, there's a field where you can enter comments. Please give us your first, second and third choice of serial number in case the one you want is already taken, or you can say something like "lowest possible."

Thank you for your patience waiting for these.
OK, I initially said I wouldn't but I changed my mind and ordered one. I have absolutely no preference for serial number so I didn't specify anything.
