Did you mean you don't like the landscape format?
Exactly and forever
Oh it’s just ok for an HP12c but NEVER for an HP41, never... not enough comfortable. I just can’t find my fingers.

Anyway it’s a very good clone, but just a clone. Nothing will give me back the “touch” of a real HP41... Except perhaps then forthcoming DM41X... wait and see.

I know the video. Nevertheless, a picture of the 41X prototype (or deuterotype) featuring reasonable resolution would be highly appreciated on this forum, I bet.

Sometimes, you've to deliver yourself what you were requesting:

(For reasons unknown, this was seen on another forum first instead of being launched on its home forum. :? If I'd run a company, I'd done this differently.)

Now to the dumb questions: Assume PRN points to something like printing, doesn't it? What about CST, CONF, and SIZE?

Edit:
Found SIZE.
HP-41's CLST could be a candidate for CST - but a primary function for clearing the stack?!?
Still looking for the meaning of CONF.
Eagerly waiting for layout explanations.

Another guess: CST = CUSTOM ? But we have USeR already... :?
CONF smells like CONFIRM but not seen on the HP-41Cx AFAIK. :?

The world is full of riddles.

1. Correct, but not the same as USER
2. Incorrect.
3. SIZE is the normal HP-41C SIZE command (to set the # of data storage registers). The slot was available so we figured better to put something there. Religious wars have been fought over things like 'xxxx would have been a better choice' but USER mode makes it less of an issue.

Thanks, Bob, for clarifying #1.
For #2, which part of my statement is incorrect? :?

You are correct that there is no Confirm on the 41CX, but your sense of smell needs some refinement.

Other hints will wait a day or so...
