SHOW duration time

Please report issues such as screen artifacts, portions of intended display are not readable and similar clearly-wrong behavior, but focused on the presentation of results rather than the numerical nature.

SHOW duration time

Post by BruceH »

A usability issue rather than technical but can the SHOW popup be made permanent with a menu key press (or ENTER or R/S) required to clear it?

This is because the extra precision over the HP-32Sii needs more time read/contemplate/digest/write down and holding BLUE-ENTER is a bit tricky with one hand while writing with the other.

In case it isn't obvious, you don't need to hold down both keys. Press and release the shift key, then press and hold down the ENTER key. This can be done with one finger quite easily. This is also how the HP 32SII works, and in fact all HP calculators.

It's funny - now you say it it works absolutely perfectly with no effort, for both shift then show or both together. But earlier I had trouble doing both together - enough times to be confident enough to write a post about it. Not so much PEBKAC (Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair) but PEBBAF - Problem Exists Between Brain And Fingertip!
