It looks like a bunch of DM32 calculators shipped out today as I too received my shipping notification with tracking. It's being tracked through USPS, although it appears to be initially handled via Netherlands Post. Last time I received something from SM, it arrived quickly on US soil, but then got stuck for a week in US customs. IIRC, it took three weeks to arrive. The "Coming soon" announcement has been removed from the SM website.
As I said above, you would find out 'quite soon'...

Does anyone knows how the top keys can be used? Is there a way to assign them to programs for instance?
Not yet, for initial BETA release, most are not active yet.

F1=Help
F4=Manage Multl-State (details coming soon when the manual is released. Just wait a few more days...)

Multi-line display adds a fair amount of comfort to the programming experience on the DM32.
I have to warn users: I've witnessed multi-line prog mode in a development FW version. But the implementation was deemed not intuitive enough by the team and so was removed. Only to make it better. So you will have to be patient for this to make its way back to a coming FW revision. It's worth it.

The user manual is up at https://technical.swissmicros.com/dm32/ ... anual.html

My shipping label shows “created but not yet in system” so I guess it’s still in the SM warehouse…

I placed the order on May 16.
I got an email saying it shipped on the 22nd.
USPS tracking initially showed “label created but not in system” as I mentioned above.
USPS tracking showed acceptance in the Netherlands on May 25.

I just noticed it too. An on-line html manual, not a pdf we could download for in-depth study.
I didn't see any section such as "improvements vs the HP-32SII", so I quickly browsed the various sections.

Well ... I'm surprised, to say the least:
- MEM now indicates 439K (section 20.3).
- "Numbers are stored in memory registers called variables. Each variable has a 1-letter name from A to Z." (section 6)
- "Labels are always 1-letter, uppercase (A through Z), which means there is a maximum of 26 labels, or programs," (section 14)
- I don't see any new functions.

This part of the beginning of section 14 is particularly unclear and confusing:
LBL (“label” = beginning) and RTN (“return” = end) are special instruction lines that allow for splitting this continuous column in discrete programs.
It is then possible to execute only the program lines found between a specific LBL and the next RTN instruction using function XEQ label.
It could be said that individual programs exist as label-delimited ranges of lines from program memory, rather than as self-contained objects.
The word label is therefore used, by extension, to designate the program that label delimits.

If you are US based, the USPS will show that until the shipment gets to customs, at least.
(From what I remember from prior shipments, at least).

meditate, relax. anticipation makes it more fun when it arrives.

Publishing a Work In Progress manual online is to be appreciated.
People will read it and use it and find issues to be corrected, before a formal PDF is made available.

Swissmicros is a small organization, managing all the aspects of creating and delivering a product. Let them juggle the tasks as best they can.

The manual has been written for people who never touched an RPN or HP calculator. It therefore exposes the topology of calculator program memory: a single column of instructions. An "Enhancement over legacy HP-32SII" section will be added to this draft.

Saving the html page works well to read it offline (that's what I do).

The present FW (which the online manual documents) does not contain all the projected enhancements.

"The number of lines stored in program memory is only limited by available memory."
So we have 439K to use in programs with only 27 Labels?
We must be missing something!
