CPU speed scaling is not implemented yet, but it will be. DM32 BETA units currently run at 48MHz at all times. Final f/w will take advantage of the maximum safe speed for the complete h/w platform with QSPI, extra memory, etc.
So, which is correct, 80 MHz or 160 MHz ?

The correct speed for now is 48MHz. The correct answer for eventually is not yet clear. 160MHZ is a theoretical max speed for the chip, but it may not be possible when considering the entire h/w design. Or, it may be. Once it's clear, it will be announced.

So, is the 80 MHz in the manual simply a placeholder for the eventually correct value ? I know that 80 MHz was the value for the old ARM Cortex-M4F chip. What is the limitation for processor speed, memory speed ?

Yes, likely a simple error from a prior manual. No idea what the limitation is... but even if I did, I'd probably say "No idea what the limitation is".

But I don't.

I'd like to know if he was trying to say he has no idea two times or three times in that post, although I don't think a calculator will help figure it out.

The spec section of the manual's next revision mentions maximum theoretical speed of the CPU, i.e. 160 MHz. Right now, it effectively runs at 48 MHz on the calculator. Further down the line, it will be possible (through CPU scaling) to bump up the frequency. How much exactly remains to be disclosed. This depends on factors beyond my understanding. But it should be relatively high. Orders of magnitude faster than the HP-32SII anyway — which it already is BTW.

Joe Horn posted the following photo comparing the HP35s, DM32 and original HP-32SII. From the Museum of HP Calculators forum. The original post at the following link has a higher resolution photo.

My shipping label shows “created but not yet in system” so I guess it’s still in the SM warehouse…
If you are US based, the USPS will show that until the shipment gets to customs, at least.
(From what I remember from prior shipments, at least).
Not true. As soon as the package begins to move within the Post NL system, it will show up in the USPS tracking system. So, as of today May 25, USPS shows my shipment as "International Transit - Acceptance - Netherlands."

Agreed, my status changed to what you show. Previously hadn't seen anything until packages got to US soil.
Perhaps the communication is better than previous years.

Mine showed up today (2023-06-06) in Virginia, USA. Ordered on May 16.
