Are moderators going to approve each post every user makes? Or is it just for the first N posts? And what is N then?

The key to keep out spambots, is ether as SwissMicro does here, or more easy, make a good Q&A. I am using the latter, and spambots only gets through 1-2 times a year.

I've registered here and my account was approved one month ago when I did my first post which is, unfortunately, still not approved.

The topic was/is about HP Prime vs DM42/43S...in the meantime I've decided not to purchase HP Prime, but still wonder about programming capabilities (memory-wise) of DM42 and whether to possibly wait for DM43 release.

However, seeing such poor forum's support, I still haven't ordered my DM calc.

Don't let the forum dissuade you from your purchase. The calculator itself requires surprisingly little support.

Perhaps the forum could do with one or two more moderators as the existing ones don't seem to be around on the forum much recently.

As I say above, I urge the admins of this forum to use Q&A as a anti spam bot measure. I will be happy to help, if you grant me admin privileges. As I also mention above, I’ve been managing a phpBB based forum for years.

I check approval requests between 3 and 6 times a week. So, it may happen that I miss a day or three, but I’ll eventually get to it.

It means that new members might have to endure a little wait. It’s only for the N first posts (not sure about the value of N).

Yeah I get N and i confused too.. it gets way too complex.
