1. The option for a DM42 display mode. Seems a waste to not take advantages of that hi-res display.
2. Scroll through OFF IMGs using 'up arrow' and 'down arrow' keys.
3. Ability to set a default OFF IMG (i.e. blank).
4. A rechargeable battery.
5. Ability to choose the date format that almost the entire world uses.
TIA,
Tim
Wish List...
Re: Wish List...
Items 1, 2 and 4 are extremely unlikely to ever happen. Nothing is impossible, but some things are close.Ignatz wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 3:28 pm1. The option for a DM42 display mode. Seems a waste to not take advantages of that hi-res display.

Item 3 can be done by loading only the blank OFFIMG into the \OFFIMG folder. If only 1 file is there, it will be used every time the unit is turned-off.
Which date format are you seeking? I think all common formats are available.
MMDDYYYY, DDMMYYYY, and YYYYMMDD are all available.
You can toggle among the options using the [Σ+] key, as described here:

Re: Wish List...
Thanks, Bob... I've now edited my OFF IMGs and set the date format.
Re: Wish List...
Could option 1 be possible through a ROM rather than modifying the 41X OS? Sort of like a combination of the Plotter ROM and the HPIL video interface?rprosperi wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 4:17 pmItems 1, 2 and 4 are extremely unlikely to ever happen.
