At least for SST and BST its's how the 41C behaves.Geoff Quickfall wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 10:05 pmPress and hold the SST key and you get NULL.

Holy Cow,
Your right, I should have checked.
How about the assignment anomaly if it is one, that I posted earlier?
Cheers, Geoff

I don't think it's an anomaly. Guess, at least in the 41C environment, BST and UP-key as well as SST and Down-key simply are addressed in parallel. I'm afraid it would need a change of the 41C code, most probably not on the agenda, ...later perhaps?Geoff Quickfall wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 11:57 pmHoly Cow,

Yes, normal ops for the SST and BST. I guess, for assignment purposes, I thought the arrow keys would be independent.

We're aware of it, there are several related issues with the cursor/shift keys. David believes he can work around this without touching the OS, but it's a big change and we wanted to get the beta update out into all your hands before David went on holiday, and decided to push this off to later. Hopefully it will be resolved to be seamless, but it's tricky. Thanks for your patience with this.
