Re: New BETA release - DM41-1.11t02 available
Does this release covers the 7/8/9 keys problem ?
And the funny yellow key becoming black..
See my post elsewhere.
Sorry to spoil the party : I had some identical problems with DM41L...
Just buy the DM42 to get a decent replica, I’am afraid.
I will buy a second one when it is available, for sure.
DM41X as a Beta is a a Beta, really disappointing

I took care of the yellow shift with some enamel (viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2314&p=13674#p13674).mezoganet wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 11:09 pmDoes this release covers the 7/8/9 keys problem ?

While at it I flexed all the keys a little and now it's almost perfect.
Beta is beta, take it or leave it...

Re: New BETA release - DM41-1.11t02 available
Update flawlessly and my hair is now growing back
Yep, beta is what it is! New dome hardware, therefore new keys, therefore new problems to be cleaned up.
My yellow electrical tape fix is holding up perfectly and the DM 41 is now my daily. Well it is with the 41cl, both in an HP19c black cover.
No key problems. Some dust under the glass, by the way, not accessible from the inside so I take it the lcd panel is installed from the front then the glass placed over it? Any tricks to removing the glass to access and remove the dust?

I did it with a suction cup. But be careful not to bring more dust than you remove.Geoff Quickfall wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 12:39 amAny tricks to removing the glass to access and remove the dust?
Good luck!
