new DM41X

Hello to the list, i have my brand new received today DM41X. However the machine screen went blank with the first press of “on”. It turns out the battery was dead, likely from the ISC Chicago shelf wear for 5 weeks. But I digress.

From where can I get the stock files that came with the machine? I have looked in the forums but can’t locate them. Any help is appreciated.

The files can be found here, in the FAT folder:

That said, even if the battery did die (which it should not have), it should not have erased the files, they're stored in the FAT partition of the flash drive and survive battery removal.

Once you replace the battery and the files, thoroughly check out behavior of the machine and report back here, with good or bad results.

It was strange. I re-installed the original battery and the display was garbled, like some random pixels were on others off, but the unit still wouldn’t turn on or off. So i removed the battery and replaced it with a fresh one and it powered on.
