Hi, Dear All
I owned DM16L. I love DM41X and MD42's large screen. Just wondering if 41x/42 can do base number calculation as DM16L does? I checked their manual. It seems only capable of some basic base number function. For instance, it can do XOR AND but lack of SL SR ASR function. etc

DM41X vs DM16L
Re: DM41X vs DM16L
If you want the big screen then there is a module that works with the DM41X and that provides HP-16C functions:

Re: DM41X vs DM16L
Thanks for the info. So as been said, I need to find the rom and load it to 41x , am I correct to say that? Do you know any place I can find the rom. I did a google search. It seems I can't find any.
Re: DM41X vs DM16L
It'll either be provided with the DM41X or it'll be in the bundle of ROM images available on the SwissMicros technical resources site: https://technical.swissmicros.com/dm41x/resources/

Re: DM41X vs DM16L
Thanks for sharing. My bad, I don't own any hp41 before. dm16 is my first hp(of course Swissmicro) calculator. After I read this manual, I am confused. Where are those function are? For instance 16ABS ,16x=0. Are they actual button on the dm41x ? I can find the 16ABS from the actual button. But for 16x=0 I had no luck, can't find it in anywhere from the actualÁngel Martin wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 8:55 amThe manual is available here: (16CS)

They are Sub-functions. Pls. read the section in the manual.danielCL wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 5:37 pmThanks for sharing. You can also check out my Ladybug module which provides most of the HP-16C functionality mapped on the HP-41 keyboard.danielCL wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 6:11 amHi, Dear All
