Refresh Alpha on screen?

Post by Boub65 »

Hi all,

Is there a way to refresh the content of the Alpha register on sreen during program execution?

I tried to do a "view x" or "PSE" but it only refreshes X register on screen and not the alpha...

R/S ("STOP") works of course... but it stops the program 🤣

Any idea on this for me?

EDIT : I acknowledge that my request is specific to DM41X... but why not make usage of the Alpha during program execution? Maybe a specific instruction?

Sincerely,
Boubker.

"AVIEW" works but it shows Alpha in the lower line of the DM41X display (overwriting X)...
My "request" is to refresh Alpha in the upper line of the DM41X display, leaving either the goose or X register unchanged 🤔

The 41X runs the original 41CX OS, so this isn't really feasible, as there is no such capability in the OS. While the 41X is very flexible and can use the large LCD to show content in historically 'hidden' areas (such as seeing Alpha when in normal stack display use) without changes to the OS itself, it can't make changes to said stored data as it would interfere with normal operation. Please let me know if that's not clear.
