DM41X arrives in MOROCCO

Post by Boub65 »

Very very very happy to receive my DM41X #00707 (nice serial number by the way 👍)

Took 4 weeks to arrive here in Rabat, Morocco (33.9716° N, 6.8498° W)...
...including some time spent in post office due to a "heavy" strike at postal services here...

Thank you Michael, David and SwissMicros to dig wonderful memories: I got my first HP41C in 1982 when I was 17 and in high school ("1ère C" class) here in Morocco... at that time no programmable calculator was authorized when taking the "Baccalaureat" degree...

DM41X very first impressions : I like the keyboard click, the font used on the buttons, and especially the quality of the faceplate engraving...

Sincerely,
Boubker.

The "C" Baccalauréat is what I nearly took. In the end, I did the "E" Bac with a view to taking further education and getting a BTS "Electronique & Informatique".

@grsbanks and @over_score :D
"E" Bac was what I've always wanted to take...
But here in Rabat, in my high school, there was no E classes, only A,B,C and D ;)
Nearest E class was in Casablanca, 120km away from home...
