Where are 'modules' documented?
Re: Where are 'modules' documented?
A minor comment regarding the previous two posts, it's easier on the DM41X to use the UP (triangle) and DOWN (triangle) keys than SST and BST.
DM15L, S/N 00548. DM42, SN: 00159. DM41X, SN: 00973. DM32, SN 00054.

Many thanks! That was very helpful.hth313 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 3:14 amPress R/S inside CAT 2. Then to view the contents of the module header shown press ENTER. You can use R/S to start and stop the rolling display, SST/BST when stopped to single step in the catalog.
You may want to consult the Games application pac manual. There are scans available as pdf and similar. http://hp41.org contains a lot of things, http://hpmuseum.org also has a DVD with loads of stuff. There are probably other places you can find it too.

Re: Where are 'modules' documented?
I understand the thrill to use a new toy but, if you are not fully familiar with the 41, may I suggest a thorough read of the manuals? It was an interesting read 40+ years ago, and probably today too: they are very well written and expose each peculiarity of the machine.
Then, asking for differences on the 41X and its virtualizations, is understandable.

Re: Where are 'modules' documented?
I've owned a HP41CV for around 15 years now. But I'm not familiar with the use of plug-in modules, card-readers, printers are any other peripherals. But I take your point. I should stop being lazy.akaTB wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 8:10 amI understand the thrill to use a new toy but, if you are not fully familiar with the 41, may I suggest a thorough read of the manuals?
