Problem with exchange function

Post by Calcman54 » Sun Oct 11, 2020 12:55 am

The exchange function should exchange the X register with any register. If I type XEQ X<>Y it works. If I type XEQ X<>01 I get the NONEXISTENT message. Am I missing something>

There should be a space after the ">", then hit alpha again without entering the register number. You will then be prompted for the number.

BTW, this is not a particularity of the DM41X; the HP-41CX behaves like this as well.
