Is there now a possibility of programatically (on the DM41X) to send & receive data to/from a PC?

I didn’t know this. Has anyone asked SM if older DM42s could get the upgraded keyboard?

There will be in due course. It's not as simple as just replacing a piece of plastic somewhere because the keys are molded along with the front half of the shell and the contact domes are stuck on the PCB under a thick film with very good adhesive!

We're figuring out what makes most technical and economical sense, but it won't be for a few weeks yet.
