Display update difference between DM41X and HP41

I'm not able to reproduce this difference on my DM41X, I've tested both programs.

I'm running DMCP v3.18t03 and DM41X v1.11t08

Srange, same firmware here, what is your hardware version, in settings /selftest/diagnostics in the upper right corner.
My HW id = 2

HW Id = 2 also on my DM41x.

Can folks please report a few additional details about their configuration when they do/don't see the delay, such as:

a. Display mode (SI vs. Stack)
b. Modules loaded (initially just yes or no)
c. Digit display setting (e.g. Fix-9, Sci-2, etc.)
d. Other non-vanilla things in your own setup

Initially :
a. SI
b. No module loaded
c. Fix 9
d. Slow mode

After testing, still no issue with Stack display mode or Fix 4, or Fast mode.

Initially I was in FixALL (Warp Core) Mode.
I switched back to FIX 4 and it still happens.

HEPAX is the only Non-Vanilla thing in my configuration.

SandMath was loaded (amongst others) with full 'mkeys' key assignment, which for those who don't know it, is pretty resource heavy as it provides access to far more than the usual single assignment per key. But even with that in the background the test program ran without any glitches.

Its looks like it is the ir printer module.
Bob your comment about the modules made me think, I was testing IR functionality on the 41X and the 42 and this was the thing I recently changed.
I don't have a real ir module to compare.
With the module plugged its slow and without it acts normal

My tests on the 41CL Below, were done with a real 82242A IR Module plugged in => Normal Behavior.
With the "Thermal Printer" Module unplugged from the DM41X => Normal Behavior.

HEPAX don't change anything.
But with the THERMAL PRINTER module the bug appears.

Thermal printer plugged in: bug as described.

Thermal printer unplugged: no bug.
