I stand corrected...
DM41X Beta Programme
Re: DM41X Beta Programme
Forgot to add: the ability to use the date format that nearly the entire world uses would be nice, too.

Not very visible on the picture but yes the back case is slightly curved.TwoWeims wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 4:42 amThe back metal case is not flat. There is a slight curvature to it so that the rubber feet do not fully contact the desktop. They only make contact at the inner-most edge of the rubber foot. Pressing a key in the outer columns causes the calculator to want to rotate about this point. This may actually explain why some key don't always register since the force applied to the outer keys is divided between pressing the key down and rotating the calculator around the edge of the foot.

Re: DM41X Beta Programme
I'd like to see the Alpha Key layout similar to what is on the back of a real HP-41 printed on the back.

Re: DM41X Beta Programme
On page 13 of the DM41X manual under 6.2.3. Load RAW Program it says, "[ENTER] to load the selected state file"
Should the word "state" be "program"?
Should the word "state" be "program"?

Thanks Tom. Good to know someone is reading the manual and catching some of the small errors introduced to spot-check the community's eyes. I'm rubbing one off as we speak. No not THAT, ya perv!TwoWeims wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 9:32 pmThe paint on the yellow shift key was chosen for a reason.
The amount of paint remaining is inversely proportional to the effort you are putting into beta testing.
If your shift key is still yellow at the end of the beta test period, you will be severely punished by the beta police...
