DM42 Simulator

I have searched this forum but couldn't find anything about it, so please allow me asking:

Is there a DM42 simulator (or emulator) you can run on a PC? And if true, where?

Of course, you can run Free42 on a PC but this is not the same, display-wise at least.

No, there is no DM42 simulator. Free42 on all of it's various platforms offer functional parity, but none offer the same enhanced screen and other DM42-specific features found in the SETUP menu.

No, not as far as I know.

I don't speak for SM, but I can't imagine why they would do that, they're in the business of selling devices, and especially in this case, Free42 versions abound already on any platform one may want to use. Moreover, as DM42 is open source, any person with the proper skills could make a PC version, with the large/configurable screen, etc. I honestly expected someone to have done this by now.
