That is a bug.
Will be fixed.
Tx.
That is a bug.
Just in case you are keeping a tally, I too favor and use the Δ%, and actually far more often than % itself. I've never used the xth root keys because I learned on calculators where you just employed 1/x with y^x. But maybe I'll grow to appreciate it as well But, if there's somehow a way for Δ% to return, I'd be pleased.
There was, and it has. You can see the updated and final faceplate on https://47calc.com/#downloads.
Hardly believe it. I'd suggest to refine the shape of g-shifted [STO] to form a proper circular arc. And a shifted x² carries zero benefit compared to [ENTER] x, so it can be replaced by xROOTy which suits [SQRT] better while g-shifted [Rdown] can carry [R^] then. Thanks, Walter! x² is fixed due to HP 42S.Walter wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 6:47 amHardly believe it. I'd suggest to refine the shape of g-shifted [STO] to form a proper circular arc. Guessed that, though TOP.FCN was dropped although present on HP-42S, wasn't it? But let's repeat the errors of our antecessors... It does, but thanks anyway!Walter wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 7:11 amGuessed that, though TOP.FCN was dropped although present on HP-42S, wasn't it? But let's repeat the errors of our antecessors... I agree.
I think it's fair to say that it seems we are approaching the realm of personal taste and preferences, as there are alternative ways to do things that some might like and others not. Hopefully all (or very nearly all) should be able to 1) feel at home, and 2) easily find things, while acknowledging that some things are not 1.0 (or 100%) according to one's own preferences.
