Vi kan til og med forstå hverandre. I hvert fall når vi skriver...
What is the metric tensor in imperial units?

Ja, jeg mødte engang en fra Lofoten, vi blev enige om, at det nok var bedst at vi talte engelsk sammen

Det må jeg også, når jeg møter noen fra Lofoten... Neida, bare tullet. Jeg er opprinnelig fra Nord-Norge selv.

Lofoten were special already 48 years ago, but we were perfectly understood speaking English there

I have fond memories of a 4 weeks trip 30 years ago through Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway up to the Lofoten.
Starting from Paris, when we arrived at Oslo we were just halfway to the Lofoten.
It was early July, above the polar circle, and swimming in the Norwegian sea under the sun in the middle of the night was quite a unique experience.

Sorry to disturb your discussion...
In this scenario, the yellow key becomes RCL and a double press on it does STO.
If you offer the possibility to assign [f] and [g] to any key (or at least to [STO] and [RCL]) and to reassign the yellow key to something else, I’ll glady test it.
I like the idea of having [f] and [g] at the location of [STO] and [RCL].Jaymos wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 10:58 amE47: (Engineer). Here the two shift keys are above the ENTER key. There is no calculator in SwissMicros’ portfolio with such an arrangement of the shift keys. This is an interesting variation on the C47 for people who can’t get used to a single shift key. We think that the E47 will not be a candidate for a Community Calculator from SwissMicros.

These proofs of concept of the various layouts are only included in the simulator. There are currently no plans to offer these layouts for testing on the DM42. One of the main reasons is that the primary key layout is no longer identical to the DM42. You can't just work with an overlay, you would have to work with sticky labels. We don't want that.
In the KEYS menu you will find the different layouts. ATTENTION: If you select one, the USER mode is also activated. So when testing the layouts, a predefined pattern is simply placed on all key positions. With the function K.RESET the layout can be "deleted" again. Alternatively, the selected layout can also be deactivated simply by switching off the USER mode.

I understand, but users may use overlay of their own and stickers if they want. The C47 already offer advanced options of customization. Why not the possibility to move [f] and [g] too?
Anyway, this is how I see the E47.
Quite an exciting idea!
