There was -80538738812075973 when I looked after getting the wrong result by adding the cubes of the 3 registers.

I may have inadvertently added 1 to R15 during a wrong manipulation.

Here are a couple of issues I found in the release 108_09a :

1. When the user has created a new menu (and assigned it to a key), it seems impossible to delete an entry in that menu because the ASSIGN NULL command recalls MyMenu. Trying to access the menu to be changed will cause the assignment of that menu to that key to be removed.
The current menu should remain displayed as it usually is with the ASSIGN command.

2. In the FIN menu, %Σ does not work, giving ∞ every time.
In addition, I have posted a proposal to redesign the FIN menu.

3. In the FAT disk, in the SAVFILES folder, the file is named C43.sav instead of C47.sav.

4. There is a mistake in R15. The last digit should be 4. Substract 1.
1. Will register this bug.

2. Fixed. Thanks.

3. I purposely left the save file as 43, as the format is still the same and you could load programs over from the previous version. I changed it to 47 now, (at the next version) so that you would have to rename the 43 file to 47 should you still need to try load it.

Hi,

One of my 2 C43 keeps rebooting. Well to be more precise, if I power it on, off, on again, it works. But if it has been off for a certain time, at night for instance, it reload the QSPI, etc.
The other is ok. I'm running the last version.

Which brings me to the next question: is the C47 layout really finalised? I have no problem building new overlays but I would hate to have to get the files, adapt them, print, laser cut, varnish and install if I have to do it again in a few weeks or months.

Keep up the good work though :)

No 1: I have no idea why one would play up and the other not. Stupid question: Does it do that overnight if you keep it on USB charger? Battery age?

No 2: Yes it is final. So the window for changes to C47 is now closed. The samples are ordered and paid from China and the waiting started. Meaning, now we all wait, not just you ;-) I actually signed off on the production files this morning after a marathon couple of weeks of team participation. The back and forth on the production files really took this long - from when I published the last DIY layout PDF (from when everyone complained, including you ;-) ), until today! I am honestly tired of graphics now.

So unless the samples don't fit, or look bad, or there are production errors, or we change to the next f[𝛼] C EXIT 43 ff[X.FN] Up NEXTP NEXTP + ( ) (joke)(no - no more graphics!) our intention is to run with this last design. Any changes except for production errors will cost extra money - so no, the window is closed.

I never keep it on the USB charger but I can try. Batteries are 2 to 3 months old.

Thanks. I'll wait till they are available to order them and then will upgrade to C47.
I guess you will announce it here.

We will announce. We do not expect the actual samples back here by me before 6 weeks from now. Then only production will be approved and provided no big changes are needed, they will likely need 3 weeks for the production run. So don't hold your breath too long. Breathe ... ;-)

Somehow I think I will manage without a C47 bezel for 2 months or more. It will be hard, I will suffer, will need a lot of drugs to ease the pain but I should survive

And if not, I can always build mine 8-)

Hi

I installed C47 version without problems. Today I have tried to update it as per readme.txt instructions in /Hardware directory.

I entered USB disk, the DM42 unit appeared in my windows 10 File Manager. I tried to copy the three new files: C43.pgm, C43_qspi.bin and testPgms.bin files but the copy process file got stuck... at say 10%... after waiting a couple of minutes, I tried to eject the disk, no way, press eject on C47 menu... no way to get a reaction...

I used a needle to press the reset button and I got the error you see on the picture...
C47-Error.jpg
C47-Error.jpg (133.9 KiB) Viewed 934 times
I pressed the exit button and it rebooted but DM42 disk no longer appears as such, only an unformatted f: disk...

How should I proceed?

Thank you

Eduardo
