Yes, @H2X told me about the HOME menu and I found X! there.

Still cant find X! in the PROB menu?
Pressing SHIFT PROB shows the following in the menu:

My C43 is currently:

The current PROB menu on hardware is rather empty. The full menu is always in the simulator. But from the next release there are no such limits.

And the current STAT menu (SHIFT STAT) seems to be missing many of the earlier features like ASSESS and more. Only two pages are displayed, whereas earlier, before 108_08p of Dec.2022, there were more pages. On hardware DM42.

It is probably normal at this time... (?)

The “missing” functions are in the shift SUM menu.

We reviewed and changed the statistics functions in the STAT and SUM menus. Look for the ‘REGR’ession menu.

Yes! these regressions and ASSESS are there in the SUM menu (g STAT); thank you very much.

program ASN

Post by GeisiX »

In the simulator (Version 108.08p), I am having trouble to assign (ASN) programs to softkey menus (MyMenu).

I press ASN and then navigate to the program item to be assigned in CAT. Directly after selecting the desired program, my simulator crashes to Desktop. However, this procedure works flawlessly with the WP43 simulator.

Is this just me / my system or is there something wrong with the simulator?

When displaying the registers with g‑REGS, I see "16 bytes" in (almost) every registers instead of the current values. These registers are not null.

Try the control buttons for REGS, i.e. while in the REGS-browser, press R/S to toggle the memory content vs. the register content.

After that, try press "." which changes to named registers, and after that try R/S to toggle that screen to memory content vs. register content.

Or is all of this not working?

I'm sorry I missed this bug report.

Please try the latest simulator - it works on my Mac.
Let us know if it does not work.
