If you want a simple, uncluttered device, the DM32 makes lots of sense. I don't think it would hurt the DM43 or vice versa. People bought 11C's when the HP-51 was around and the other way round .. or they bought both.
HP 51 ?

I contributed to the previous project, WP34s: timer function, multi-platform emulator and iOS App. Because the last one is free, I have to pay around 80$ a year to register it to the App Store.

Someone else will write the next iOS emulators.
If you've got a way to accept a "grateful user" contribution on the iOS WP34s app, I'd surely contribute—seems like you shouldn't bear the never-ending Apple store fees solely! My hardware WP34s units are my main go-to at my desk and workshop, but "out and about" I always use your iOS app, usually daily. It's a super implementation of the WP34s... really well done! Thank you for it!

Thanks but there is really no need. I'm not complaining about it, I made this choice because I wanted to give something to the community as open-source has been instrumental to many of my project success, both personal and professional.

Typo. Or rather: Tappo.

Corrected.

This is very unfortunate, but perhaps not entirely unexpected. For now, I will be satisfied with my pre-production WP43 that is currently somewhere in US customs, and the draft manual PDFs (v0.23) that represent so much hard work. A collector's item, to be sure.

I am very grateful to the entire project team, and look forward to what is to come with the C43.

Just for the record: the iOS app is stellar, really a great implementation. Simple and well done, and beautiful. If you provide a way, I am willing to contribute.

Too bad, really, your work has been fantastic. Thank you again.

Thanks. I chose to make it free because most of the work was done by the team and I "just had" to write the interface. In my mind, this is the right way to contribute to the open-source ecosystem. Even if I have to pay from my own pocket to use the App Store. But that's ok, I can afford it.

I'm trying to write an iOS & MacOs C47 implementation but my real work is demanding so no promises.

If there are things on the main C47 project that need to be steered this way or that way to reduce your efforts, do let us know; depending what, things could be done to help. We fully support any effort like this.
