@Jaymos, for the HP-41 You had many different labels, also empty ones and a sheet of preprinted and blank stickers.
I actually used this a lot, when I was sailing. One for astronomical navigation, one for radar target plotting (calculating CPA, TCPA, …) and one for stability calculations.

@rudi, I concur if you meant overlays where you wrote of labels.

@Jaymos, the empty ones were traditionally blank (or white). They were available for HP-41Cx and HP-71B at least. And you will need them if/when you re-assign your keyboard for user mode.

I have a 41CX (well, 2 actually). The big difference is that it was very easy to change the overlay and they were firmly kept in place.
With the DM42/DM41X/C43, this is not the case.

There are small holes on both sides?
I can't even see them but I can feel them with my nail.

I imagine the overlay is easy to put on but a pain to remove.

Yes, I meant “small stickers with pre printed functions”. Such a sheet would be huge, if it should contain all functions in the C47. But blank stickers, that you can write on with a pen, would be handy. It was the latter I used for the tasks I mentioned above.

Add the 75 to those two.

Yes they are.

To me it is the contrary: easy to remove by bending it slightly, not so much to put because 3 small holes on both sides is really a good design.

Also, DIY overlays in paper tend to pop and once again, this is not really a problem with the HP41C because the keys are taller but much more with the DM42. And of course, the lateral holes do nothing to prevent this.

Hence the use of 3M removable glue or 2 faced adhesive tape which makes changing the overlay even less enjoyable.

Do you remember the Wumpus game? - I found it fascinating and programmed it in my 702P as a teen. Does anyone?
I remember the Wumpus game very well! I programmed it on my Sharp PC1500 with an 8K module in 1982... Damn, it was 41 years ago.
It was one of the 1st programs I wrote for my PC1500.

We are considering specifying colours for the C47 overlay. Does anyone know from personal experience checking Pantone cards, what the yellow and gold Pantone codes are? At the moment our guesses are HP Yellow: Pantone 123 C and HP Blue: Pantone 300 C

If I scan my HP machines, I find a yellow pantone of 124 C.

How do you get the number?

I assume you have no 11C or 15C for the blue. maybe ?
