This looks really nice!
"Varnish" is a pretty broad term that means different things to different people in different countries.
Can you post a picture of the exact product or supply a link so people have an idea of what you used?
Availability might vary regionally, but knowing precisely what product works well makes a good place to start.
Thanks!

I used the spray/aerosol, not the liquid one. One layer of satin, 20 min later, one layer of matte and 20 min later, one last layer of matte.
This may be overkill but it works fine.
I also did a few changes to the original PDF file I used to print: higher contrast, W and other keys slightly compressed and moved to the left to fit inside the cutting line...
So you need to experiment a bit to find what works best for you.
Also fitting the overlay in the DM42 keyboard holes must be done in two times: first I fit the left size easily and then I push the right side in the hole with the tip of a knife.
But in the end, the result is very nice and at normal distance, one can hardly see that this is an overlay.

Re: C43 bezel expected when?
Thanks but my real business already takes a lot of my time. If someone wants one or two, I can send them assuming you are in no hurry. I need to convince my wife to let me get the exclusive use of our living room table for the laser cutting machine each time. I'm joking, she is pretty cool

Hi,
it would be interesting to know which laser cutter you use?

Something like this: https://neje.shop/collections/all-produ ... pp-controlPierreMengisen wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 11:23 amit would be interesting to know which laser cutter you use?
But any decent laser cutter will do for thin paper like this. Or even ticker paper especially because it is printed black. But I've been able to cut white paper too.
With my head which is quite powerfull, I'm using 80% power, 15mm/s.
P.S: this is obvious but laser cutters are not toys and must be used very carefully. Not only can the laser do bad things to your eyes but you must not cut certain materials such as PVC, some leathers as they will emit toxic and acid fumes.
If you want to cut paper only, vinyl cutters are a good alternative. I've never used one myself but the guy who mass produced WP-34s overlays did.
