Anyone experience with shipping to the Netherlands?

Post by pschel »

Anyone recent experience with shipping to the Netherlands? I ordered my DM42 on July 31, shipping confirmation one day later and with a PostNL tracking number. The parcel “has been processed in the country of destination” on August 5. No further status updates since. PostNL refered me to SwissMicros who sould ask for an investigation. This is what I asked SwissMicros to do on August 17. I was asked to reconfirm my address (which was correct) on August 23. Its now August 26, no confirmation yet and I hope that one day I will still receive the calculator that I paid for.

Order placed on 14th aug. Today, aug 27th the shipment is still in Milan - I’m in south of italy. They don’t wanna use some known and better courier, and I don’t understand why! We pay the shipment. I was insulted here :D viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3090

Insulted?
And where, exactly?

I mean: I am open to apologize, if I really did.

Giubin, nobody insulted you. Maybe you didn't like someone pointing out gently (not aggressively!) to you that you're jumping up and down and making a lot of noise about something that nobody here has any control over. The people you should be venting off at are Poste Italiane.

For what it's worth, Massimo is a well-known, long-time member of this community and I saw no insult in his reaction. If anything, I found it to be quite measured.

I have made three separate orders these last few months (41x, 42, 41L). All were delivered to my address in the Netherlands within 2-3 weeks. This was before SM switched to tracked packages, btw. I am very pleased with the 100% reliability so far and will not hesitate to order the promised upcoming new machines.
