Michael, the Allschwil Meeting on 27/28 October in Oberwil that I am organising with Matthias is the perfect place for the presentation of the hopefully finished DM32. I am looking forward to the addition to my calculator family. The HP32II is my workhorse.

Re: May 2022 Speculations
nice comments Bill, rang many bells with me.

Re: May 2021
Trying to deal with where to find functions on my WP-34S on my DM42 platform is too much, even with the cheat card of where to find things. I am going to revert it back to a DM 42!
Re: May 2021 Speculations
I saw the ink traps and the colours and I was just about ready to buy this for its looks alone. Then it turns out to be my chosen favourite of all the HP RPN calculators, with that glorious screen that has had me considering getting a DM42 despite my lack of desire to learn it for a long while. Dream come true! Then it turns out to get upgraded to USB type C as well. Hopefully it runs the same OS as the DM42 and DM41x and makes for a good platform for playing with other calculator software as well, when feeling adventurous rather than utilitarian.
Add me to the beta tester list, if you need any. I do have a 32s ii for comparison. I expect more than one DM32 in my future.
The interesting part is what to do with the extra row of keys on this. I want x^2, up and down on primary keys but then I'm quite frankly at the end of my wishlist, for keys. Any suggestions?

Great! Couldn't agree more. Can't wait to get my hands on it either!

I think a blank keyboard option for this could be useful, if it runs DMCP and especially if it has more storage than the previous platform. I made a mockup image but I get an error saying the file is too large despite it being only 35.4 KiB.
Re: May 2022 Speculations
can you share with me the reason for your preference? 48gx over the 50g? 48gx is the popular choise, compared to 50g.
I've both, but still love the 50g

Re: May 2021 Speculations
Well, if we're dreaming, I'd like:
50g internals and screen (on a modern processor)
48GX Keyboard layout
48SX color scheme.
Yup, I'd buy 5 of them.
