Sorry for my bad manners...

I'm Emy Amstein, 42, graphic designer from Switzerland, and I've been helping at SwissMicros for a little while now. You may read me in this forum from time to time in the future.

There's a calculator nerd in me I guess because, although I have no math background, I've gathered a modest collection of HP calculators, mainly Pioneers.

Here's for my self-intro. Cheers!

So Emy = Michael ?
Seems likely.
Why on earth do you think that?
If you search this site, you find a “ Emy Amstein”
https://technical.swissmicros.com/manua ... _v1.63.pdf
That's just one of Michael Steinmann's many aliases.

Oops, I missed Emy's intro above. My bad.

So that's why they needed Saturn emulation, then...
The HP32Sii ROM is copyright protected, hence no emulation :geek:

Did you know that the HP 32Sii is faster than an HP 35s ?

Thank you, Emy Amstein for helping out the Swissmicros team.

The YouTube video posted by Emy linked to a video shared by Michael.

That is why I suggested that it seems likely.

We can load our own ROMs on the hardware. I still hold out hope for a 48GX on DM hardware.
Waiting for SM to release DM42 hardware with one additional row of keys.

They are one year overdue, and SM marketing is quiet. Obviously nothing can be told for the time being. Speculation is moot: it can be anything, if anything at all.
Throwing a stone in a quiet lake helps sometimes. ;) 8-)

Thanks to Emy for surfacing and sharing the youtube link!

Hi Emy,

That's quite a "detailed" font that you've chosen. Are you sure the manufacturers are going to be able to print it accurately enough?

I'm not very familiar with the 32SII. I've read up a bit on it, but I can't seem to see what makes this particular model desirable when compared to the current available models? Would it be like a lower cost DM42? Maybe there is much more to it that hasn't been announced yet as well.
