Good news ... the DM42 arrived today :)

The keyboard is an improvement indeed, but my DM41X Beta (with the repaired keyboard) is quite good as well, and less noisy.

Unfortunately no time yet to really play around with the "42".

I use Visual Studio to write my programs and I can add comments in the file directly. It’s a big help.
Waiting for SM to release DM42 hardware with one additional row of keys.
