For sizing, I realize your aim is the Swiss Micros DM machines, but are you also sizing thickness for Pioneers as well?
If there’s enough interest, I could be talked into doing Voyager and Pioneer versions too. The Voyager ones would at least apply to SM because I think they have the same dimensions. I might get booted from the forum if I pursue the Pioneer sizes too aggressively ;)
I'd say there is plenty of market interest here for DM4x, Pioneer and DM1x/Voyager versions. Yes, the DM1x and Voyagers are close enough in size that one case design will easily accept both. And I'm pretty sure no one here would be concerned about adding Pioneer cases; everyone here loves them! :D

If they use calfskin, who's gonna eat all that veal? Not me! I'm half Italian and half German but I must be one of the few of either country who doesn't like veal! Scuttle the Scallopini! Waste the Wiener Schnitzel!
Who the hell cares if you're a mixed breed or if you're eating beef?! It would have been a real miracle if you could talk about at least one subject here without someone like you writing their unnecessary nonsense about it.

Come on. Just since you lost a skirmish about operator placement you don't have to belabor an innocent stroller.

STS-741, you can either post constructive comments and participate in the discussion in a polite manner or you can go.

I did see a thread where someone was using a leather smartphone belt holster and the ensuing argument about global trade, but that doesn’t quite fit the bill.
That Valenta belt holder is made from sturdy felt lined leather. I bought a few (not sure if they are still available), and one already saved my HP 11C from serious damage. It fits the DM41X perfectly as well. I have one for my HP 11C, my HP17BII, my DM15L, and my DM41X. On the HP 17BII, it is a bit tight fit. For the DM41X and the Voyagers it's perfect.

The https://www.valenta.com/en/belt-cases page has quite a few. Do you know what model you gave?

It's the Durban Black 4XL. That does have a belt loop, unfortunately, but it is flat, so it's not in the way fortunately.

I bought them a few years ago, and the leather quality on mine is really good. I assume that the current ones are still the same (IIRC their customer service was quite responsive, so you can ask them).

Those look very nice, and appear to be excellent quality leather. The price is quite reasonable IMHO, but shipping to USA unfortunately doubles that. Too bad...
