If orders do open next week, do you anticipate shipments to the US to arrive by Christmas? My Dad raised me to be an RPN fan -- he's a rabid long-time 42S aficionado and power user of Free42 on his phone. I can only image this would be a knockout gift for him.
If not, his birthday is mid-January, so either way...
I'll likely be ordering two.

I'm working on it, but I totally underestimated the overall time and effort needed to assemble them ...
I need another week to finish a reasonable amount before opening the gates.
Can you tell us the firmware version it will ship with? Is it 2.11.6 or is there another version coming up soon?

Sending to the State in most cases takes not longer than seven working days. So, sending it off by the 13th should be just fine.

Just crossed my mind:
Isn't there a
requirement to indicate the country of origin?
Made in Switzerland?
Did you check the necessity of
CE printed on the device?
IANAL but errors in this area may become very expensive!
Just make sure you checked what may be applicable before launch ...

We'll start at Saturday and I'll bring them all to the post office on Monday morning, which should be soon enough to arrive before Christmas.

On Sunday at about noon I'll send out a mass-email to a reasonable amount of people (in chronological order) for the remaining units ...
