I have a beta unit, so I can wait. When do you expect to have the next batch ready?

not much, a nicer key bezel but I promised replacements for the beta units and the housing is sandblasted a bit rougher and doesn't collect fingerprints.

On Sunday at about noon I'll send out a mass-email to a reasonable amount of people (in chronological order) for the remaining units ...
So you will send out a mail to the first 300 on your list today then? Also, let's hope the units are not held back in customs for VAT. Fortunately, the huge christmas package traffic makes that less likely than normal..

Hi Michael:
I see that the order form now has the DM42. Cool!

But it says “limited quantities. Contact Michael to pre-order” when I enter a quantity.

I assume we should just wait for the official start time later today?
Happy holidays,
Will

I announced the sale start here. It's at 20:00 UTC+1 and on Sunday I'll send mail to a reasonable amount of those of the list in chronological order.

Other than what Michael said, the output power of the IR LED has been increased, enabling printing from further away from the printer than with the beta units. YMMV, as they say, but you should be able to print from a good 50cm-75cm from the printer now.
