Olivier,

Check out this website:

http://hp-15c.homepage.t-online.de/content_web.htm

This is a a very nice HP-15C simulator (Windows, Linux, Mac) that includes a USB interface to SwissMicro's DM15L, allowing copying of programs, etc. It may be just what you are looking for.
Thank you for this information.

The interface with the DM15L need a complicate configuration on the Mac ? (it is a little bit difficult for me to do theses configuration: I always miss something ... that explain my comment about the DM41L firmware that I did not upgrade).

Have a good day

Olivier

I don't know for sure, I use Windows, however the SM website has information here (https://www.swissmicros.com/instructions.php) in the "Serial Console" section, including a PDF file of instructions on setting this up on a Mac.

I found back the reference of my first scientific calculator : a commodore SR7919.

That was marvelous for me.

I had my Ti58C two or or three years after that: a very different paradigm, but which explain why I like also code programming. At that time, I began programming in Z80 assembler code, and I even programmed in a computer a small Forth Compiler; I think I won't be able to do the same now !!

I tried but I don't know why, but I can't download the .hex file.

Today, maybe ?

I'm not sure what you mean by the .hex file, the driver for macOS for connecting to the DM1x/41L machines is here:

http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Page ... ivers.aspx

If that will not install, post some specific results (e.g. error messages, etc.) and Mac users here will be able to help you get it working.

I really like the original premise of this thread. A DM 15X that added only the ability to see all of the stack registers would be great by itself.

Other improvements such as
  • Program display with glyphs instead of numeric codes
  • Improved matrix entry / display / editing
  • Ability to view more / all stats registers
  • Ability to view both parts of complex numbers
would be incredible.

A DM 15X would have to have glyphs instead of numeric codes because the numeric codes depend on the landscape keyboard.

Indeed and I would love one. It would be powerful yet very easy to use.
