Did anyone tested the i41CX+ on iPhone / iPad ?

Post by Olivier de Nantes » Tue Mar 31, 2020 9:29 am

All is in the title.

I was looking to this app on iPhone or iPad, and I wonder if anyone tried it.

If yes, is it interesting ?

Bit expensive, still sitting on the fence. BTW, I have an HP 41CX... 8-)

It was interesting before the DM41X era.
But now there's DM41X.

Bonjour Olivier,

I have been using it for years and it is by far the best HP-41CX emulation I have found on iOS.

Two implementations available: Sylvain

It's a lot cheaper than an actual 41CX. :D
I have i41CX on my iPhone, i.e. the cheaper version without module support. It works perfectly, I have never encountered compatibility issues.

If you're buying an iPhone for the sole purpose of running this app, it's not a cheap solution, but I'm guessing Olivier already owns such a device...

Well ...

How did you guess ? :)

But seriously, my question was related to the problem of generating easily raw file with a tool which allow me to type program with a large keyboard (for example with my iPad) and then convert on to raw files.

Thank to all for your answer

Well ... that question was not part of the original post ;)

After you type a program in i41CX you can export it in an email which will include the text listing in the body and the raw file in attachment.

That is right, but I was also interested by the app which seems to be quite complete.
