Calculating Pi on DM16

Hi there

I know I can just type in 3.1415926 in float
Mode to get pi but I’m just wondering if anyone has a program to calculate it - would be a cool thing I think..

I’ve had a quick net search but without access to sin cos and tangent functions it would need to be a specialised algorithm !

Anyone ?

Thanks

Steve

Thanks I was mainly after algorithms for calculating digits of pi but having looked into it the best and most efficient thing to do I’ve decided is just to store the constant - it’s accurate enough.

However having said that.. that page is very interesting!! Thanks!
