Ultimate question before I sign in :

When could we count on it ? Days, Months, Years ?

Hardware is about ready. Firmware is at 55% but since the 43S is flashable, this is no problem - simply update with the progress of coding.
...
(IF the pilot batch will be finished in time THEN we plan bringing a suitable amount to Allschwil. So you can save shipping. :D )
Allschwil meeting is scheduled for 2020-11-07. You can deduct it's a matter of months to get the hardware, flashed with the (then) current firmware. Actual state of firmware (now) can be seen using the WP 43S simulator.

Uncertainty: We all don't know how the corona virus affects the factories in China and their deliveries until then.

Certainty: The firmware won't be complete by November, but see above.

If I counted correctly, we have a prime number of 37 purchase options so far. Actually 38 since I want one as well. Thanks for your feedback! :D

We've to do some final tuning of our specs now to ensure our intentions will be understood properly. 8-)

I don’t know if you’re still adding to your tally, but I’d be very interested in getting on the beta list. I would have replied earlier but I was waiting for my account to be approved.

That would be 39 with me !!!

The first contact with DM 41X is ok and the life with DM 42 is nearly perfect.

So why not to try that as soon as it is available and can be tested, if it is still possible to be on the pilot teams (I always loved the pilot's uniform !!!!).
